Google Good for the Economy
One can't argue that Google is quite-simply the richest online company of our time. The perception of whether they do enough good, well that appears to be on their agenda as of late.
Their recent press-show highlights their stats that for every $1 spent on the AdWords platform, $8 is gained in the economy from business transactions. This accounts, according to their estimates, for $54 billion.
A nice number, indeed - and perhaps accurate. Few companies can make that type of claim - as their system is helping small, medium and large-sized corporations transact business and gain more customers.
It's all the elements of what makes the world go-round - ultimately business at its core. Any company that's helping business get transacted - especially during times like these - has the thumbs up no matter how much they donate or how "green" their initatives may be. It's all about the bottom line - and Google get's it.
